Established at Timaru in 1990, the team is led by David McBride, a Registered Architect and Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Architects (FNZIA).  The practice has a reputation for fresh, innovative and eco-smart design that is well tuned to the New Zealand landscape and climate.

Frequent winners of NZIA Awards for Architecture and NZ Master Builder's Federation House-of-the-Year Awards.

David McBride Architect has an established client base throughout New Zealand, with a history of successful projects at Queenstown, Wanaka, Central Otago and the Mackenzie Country, while Lake Taupo and Hawkes Bay are key areas for the practice in North Island.

Fees and services are negotiated specifically with the client on every project.  A complete design and management service is offered, including full interior design and fitout.

A range of expert secondary consultants including structural engineers and landscape architects are available to assist in all projects as required.
